Holton-Elkhorn Band Christmas Concert 2021

The Holton-Elkhorn Band Christmas Concert Saturday 12-11-21 was Great. The band was on top of it and the audience was wonderful. That mean Grinch happened to come along again but luckily didn’t stay long. On a sad note, Pete Roth, a trumpet player with the band for the past 10 years died in his sleep the Tuesday night following the concert. Pete was one of the kindest, most caring, talented and loving people you could ever meet. He lifted everyone up that he met and as an educator he never stopped giving helpful musical advice to lift everyone’s abilities. Heaven gained a great trumpeter (look out Gabriel) and Earth has lost a wonderful human being. Rest now Pete.
